Year of the Horse

This is new, is it for me?

September - Sue

A beautiful door made for a special cat called ‘Brimstone ‘ after the butterfly . My daughter has ME and is often bed bound so wanted to make a door for Brim so that she wouldn’t have to get in and out of bed to let him come and go. She bought a fairy door, cut a cat size hole in her bedroom door with a Jig Saw, screwed the hinge to the door post and decorated the archways both sides of the door with a plastic stone-like edging, painted the stones gray then stuck some moss around it. It looks authentic and amazing. An ingenious solution, better than a boring cat flap! I wonder what Brim thinks of it?!
A beautiful door for ‘Brimstone’ my daughter’s adored cat named after the Brimstone butterfly. Becky has ME and is often bed-bound and in severe pain, so she wanted to enable Brim to come and go at will without having to get out of bed to let him in or out. She cut a cat size hole in her bedroom door with a jigsaw and screwed this fairy door to the door post. She then decorated the archway both sides of the door to finish it off. Ingenious!!! I think Brim thinks so too - better than a boring old cat flap in a bedroom door!
