Decided to do something other than putting these in wall baskets this year and make a "flower fire" with my ancient begonia tubers in pots and a packet of nasturtium seeds in a trough. The nasturtiums were effective as the embers but didn't hold up under heatwave conditions. The begonias however really went for it as you can see, the taller red ones are chest high (OK I'm only 5ft 3ins). They really surprised me but with a hose pipe ban the watering has been a mission.
