There's a whole wall at Cardiff Castle topped with various animal sculptures (at intervals) as you walk along it. Most of them appear to be gazing off into the distance. But this bear looks straight at you with an expression that makes you feel like he wasn't expecting to see you there. This castle is where he belongs; whereas we, the passers by, are puzzling unexpected.
