We are in the middle of moving - a very busy time so not much to show in the way of photos during August. However, we did have a surprise when we saw 2 B1B bombers fly over our house in close formation. A third of the US Airforce’s fleet of these bombers are based at Fairford (which is 10 miles away) - we are used to seeing a daily flight but we have never seen two in such close formation before. You would be glad these photos do not include a soundtrack! Their presence in the area resulted in the cancellation of a yearly International Air Show impacting the local community economically. Although amazing to see these jets the reasons behind their presence is a daily sad reminder of war.
