The Rome Colosseum at night, with each recessed arch lit in dark orange light illuminating the statues in each, as they would have been in place in ancient rome
A little jaunt away for my husband's birthday. Back to Rome for sun, archaeology, and to eat our body weight in pizza, pasta and gelato. Even better than the city in the day is the city at night, like the Colosseum all lit up.
