Richard has self-published a book on Amazon that he’s been working on these past few years. The book is not for everyone - it helps to have an interest in Military History. His great Uncle Herbert was a chaplin in WWI. He died near Arras in August 1917. He wrote many letters to his family and his mum copied them into a notebook. He was a passionate man and when the letters stopped for reasons unknown as it was a few months before he died, the stress of the war was very apparent. Self-publishing is a hassle! Not for the faint hearted or technically challenged.
