I've probably said this before but I love being the official photographer at an event. You get privileged access and the opportunity to take pictures that will be shared and become the permanent record of the event.
This time it was the Welcoming of the Cirencester Civic Society hare statue. We, the society, had guided the artist (being worshipped by the Town Crier in this image) with what we wanted in on the hare. But we were all blown away by the incredible job he did.
