We visited Hampton Castle in Herefordshire recently and highly recommend it . There are various types of gardens within the grounds all cleverly designed and well maintained, including a maze and also a river walk. We couldn’t tour the house on that particular day but it looked old and intriguing looking like a small castle. Loved this sunken garden! A great day out!
