We cruised along the Duoro river from/to Porto, stopping at various places of interest, including medieval villages and vineyards. The narrow locks and wide variety of bridges were of particular interest. Early mornings alone on deck was a favourite time as I could truly immerse myself in the sounds and sights of the river.
