We spent a week in the Scilly Isles in July staying on Tresco. We walked 50 miles and kayaked one morning for 3 hours. We’ve kayaked before but in mangroves. It was amazing but we needed hot showers and a lie down afterwards. The water is gorgeous but cold. One day the ferry went to Samson - a deserted island. Richard took this photo of Hangman's Rock from the ferry on the return from Samson which lies between Bryher and Tresco. We were lucky with the weather. Beautiful place. Lovely memories.
