A town square. Edwardian era buildings surround car park and a statue of The Queen Mother.
Poundbury is a town in Dorset which has been built "according to the principles of King Charles III". His views on architecture are fairly well known so to wander round a town he helped design is a very strange experience indeed - partly because the modern buildings' old fashioned aesthetic creates an almost "uncanny valley" effect and partly because of the complete lack of road markings in the car park.
