On our U3A October walk at the beginning of the month, we saw this amazing mushroom with wings trying to escape an old log. We know nothing about mushrooms and did try to discover the name but the closest we came to was a Wood Hedgehog fungi. However, we don’t believe that is correct. If anyone knows please let Tom know!
