The small village of Assos, located on a peninsula in the northern region of Kefalonia. The photo was taken from the ruins of a 16th Century Venetian castle which dominates the village.
It was wonderful sampling Greek hospitality again whilst exploring, though sad to encounter deserted villages, abandoned after the earthquake of 1953.
