A day out to RSPB Newport Wetlands found us in the midst of driving winds off the Bristol Channel. Not the best weather for birdwatching... they had more sense than us and kept their heads down... but it created some lovely silver seascapes as we looked due south from East Usk lighthouse. Oh, and we did have a great view of the resident Peregrine looking for something to eat.
