Back in the simpler times of 2001, I attended the University of Bath and for my first year lived in the mighty John Wood halls. This month I went for a walk past my old halls and took this picture through the gate. Aside from a newer lock, the view is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago down to the security camera (which was set on fire) and the open green space (which we wrote messages on in letters made of carrots). Even that bin and metal trolley thing look hauntingly familiar.
