We had a day out to Dent in the West Yorkshire Dales. Martins Bank was part of Bank of Liverpool (only UK bank with its HQ out of London) with Dent branch opening all of 3.5 hours per week. Martins was sold to Barclays in 1968 but they seem to have overlooked closing this branch, still vacant premises. Dent is a beautiful, sleepy place nestling in Dentdale.
