Meeting some cows in Bathwick Meadows was an unexpected highlight of my month. I scratched their heads, they licked my hands, and I was thoroughly delighted. They were also pretty cute, with their doe eyes and the long tussock of hair between their ears. Each cow had their own personality and it made me sad that people eat them. I hope this particular goofball is enjoying the meadows for years to come.
