This is an attempt at a bakeoff technical challenge. The finished version is the same picture with everything covered in chocolate including the worktop but I wanted to show off the marshmallow because it is a weird substance requiring precisely boiling sugar and gelatine powder and egg combined to form something entirely unlike any of it's component parts or anything else.
